Students’ Achievements<\/h1>\n

The UG \/ PG students & Research scholars have participated in various National Level Competitions and have brought laurels to IIT Tirupati and especially to the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. A few significant students’ achievements are highlighted below:<\/p>\n

Our student team secured First Prize of \u20b91 Lakh in Smart India Hackathon 2019<\/span><\/strong> for the problem statement “App Based Solution for Digitization of Valuation of Mobile Assets”, <\/em><\/span> followed by teams NightHawks, OnebyZero and InnovationHunters securing 2nd place in their respective problem statements<\/p>\n

Secured 8th and 11th position out of the 23 participating IITs in Overall General Championship<\/span><\/strong> in 7th and 8th Inter IIT Tech Meet <\/em><\/span> in 2018 and 2019.<\/p>\n

BETiC medical innovation challenge<\/span><\/strong> – Gold medal <\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Ashoka’s Tech For Change challenge<\/span><\/strong> – Gold medal <\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

\n

PlutoX Hackathon<\/span><\/strong> – Gold medal <\/em><\/span> (Only IIT in this event with Gold)<\/p>\n

\n

Campus Sustainability challenge<\/span><\/strong> – Bronze medal <\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

\n

DIC’s Terrace Farming Robot for Hilly Areas<\/span><\/strong> – Bronze medal <\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

\n

BOSCH’s Route Optimization Algorithm<\/span><\/strong> – Silver medal <\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

\n

A team of five undergratuates represented IIT-T in AI Hackathon-19 <\/span><\/strong> conducted by NVIDIA-CDAC Pune and has won the second-runner up <\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Active participation at the Inter IIT Sports Meet <\/span><\/strong> in Cricket, Football, Basketball, Badminton and Table Tennis<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n
